The Scent
Bergamot and lemon open with a bright, brisk clarity, while apple adds a rounded, slightly sweet fruitiness underneath. Within ten to fifteen minutes, watery notes arrive and pull the composition into proper aquatic territory. The transition is smooth rather than sudden, the fruit and water blending rather than competing. The citrus recedes gradually, leaving the apple's sweetness as a bridge between the sparkling top and the cooler, more expansive heart that follows. It can read as a reliable, well-performing everyday scent to those who appreciate that kind of predictability, or feel a touch synthetic in its aquatic phase to those who wish the base had more complexity. Neither impression is wrong, as they reflect different expectations brought to the same bottle.

Hawas is best suited to spring and summer days, especially for casual daytime outings, university settings, or a relaxed office environment where a fresh, non-intrusive scent is welcome. The warm, amber base also carries it reasonably well into early autumn evenings, where the driftwood and patchouli get a chance to show a little more character.
