The Scent
Pineapple arrives first, unapologetically juicy and bright rather than synthetic, with orange and grapefruit flanking it to keep the citrus energy lively and multi-layered. There is real tropical intent here: the pineapple reads like actual cut fruit rather than a candy approximation. Within the first ten minutes, the citrus trio starts to soften and the orange begins to mellow toward something slightly creamy. This is where Malibu earns a second look. The heart introduces orris, lavender, and amber, and this combination is more interesting than it sounds on paper. The tonka reinforces the sweetness without tipping into gourmand excess. It can read sweet or skin-close depending on the wearer, the final impression shifting subtly between a barely-there warmth and a softly luminous musky glow.
