Launched in 2026 as part of Rasasi's ongoing expansion of the Hawas line, Hawas Thunder is an Eau de Parfum built around a bright citrus-and-ginger opening that dries down into a warm, vanilla-tinged wood. It reads as a more polished, spiced take on the sweet-fresh DNA that made the original Hawas a staple in the Bangladesh market. Aromatica carries the Hawas Thunder decant in Bangladesh in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml sizes.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Apple, Bergamot, Ginger, Cedarwood, Mandarin

Heart: Mate, Peony, Orange Blossom, Patchouli

Base: Ambergris, Tonka Bean, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Musk

The Scent

The opening leans cleaner and crisper than Hawas Black or Hawas Fire, with bergamot and mandarin cutting a bright citrus line that ginger sharpens with a warm, slightly spicy bite. Apple comes in juicy rather than candied, and there is a whisper of cedarwood already present in the top that hints at where the drydown is going. The heart gets interesting for a Hawas release, with mate lending a faintly toasted, green-leafy quality underneath an orange blossom and peony floral. Patchouli bridges the middle and the base, adding an earthy depth that keeps the florals from reading too sweet or too feminine. The base is warm and comfort-driven, with vanilla and tonka doing most of the lifting and ambergris adding a salty skin-like warmth. Cedarwood reappears in the base and ties back to the opening, giving the composition an uncommon vertical structure for a Hawas flanker. Early reviewers place Hawas Thunder somewhere between Hawas Fire and Hawas Kobra in feel, although drier and more woody than either. This is not a loud citrus beast like Hawas Ice, it is a spiced woody-amber release that wears closer to the skin and performs more like a designer than a typical Rasasi room-filler. Because it only launched in 2026, community consensus has not fully settled yet, so decant-first remains the smart approach for anyone trying the fragrance for the first time. The note list is on the denser side for a Hawas flanker, and how the mate and peony register on individual skin chemistry varies significantly in the early reviews that do exist.

When to Wear

Best for transition-season days, fall office wear, and cooler evenings. Works across casual and formal settings without tipping too far into either mood. For other warm-spicy options, browse the Arabians collection at Aromatica.

Who Is It For

Someone who already owns an earlier Hawas and wants the line at its most wearable and low-key. Someone after an Arabian-brand spiced woody that will not dominate a meeting or a dinner.

As a flanker of the 2015 Hawas, Thunder takes the same line name in a distinctly warmer direction. If you enjoy this composition, Hawas Fire sits in adjacent territory with a bolder amber character, and Hawas Verde offers a brighter, greener counterpoint from the same line. Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
