Description - Delina La Rosée
Where the original Delina leans tart and fruity and the Exclusif goes warm and powdery, Parfums de Marly Delina La Rosée Eau de Parfum strip
Where the original Delina leans tart and fruity and the Exclusif goes warm and powdery, Parfums de Marly Delina La Rosée Eau de Parfum strips things back to something lighter and more transparent. Released in 2021, again by perfumer Quentin Bisch, La Rosée is built around the idea of a dewy morning rose, still wet from the garden. It is the most wearable Delina for hot weather and the gentlest entry point into the line. Aromatica carries the Delina La Rosée decant in Bangladesh in all four sizes.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Litchi, Pear, Bergamot
Heart: Turkish Rose, Peony, Watery Flowers
Base: Haitian Vetiver, Woody Notes, White Musk
The Scent
The opening is clean, bright, and noticeably softer than the original. Lychee is still present but less aggressive, accompanied by pear and bergamot rather than the sour rhubarb of the original Delina. There is a freshness here that feels almost aquatic, though not in a marine or calone-heavy way. The transition to the heart is smooth. Turkish rose emerges with a watery, dewy quality that community reviewers often describe as the most natural-smelling rose in the Delina line. Peony adds softness, and the "watery flowers" accord gives the mid-section a translucent feel, as if the rose has been diluted with morning dew rather than amplified with sweetness. The base is minimal and clean. White musk carries the rose gently into the dry-down, with Haitian vetiver providing a faint green-earthy anchor. Woody notes are subtle, more texture than statement. Performance is the main criticism. Multiple reviewers note that La Rosée fades faster and projects less than both the original and the Exclusif. It reads closer to the skin after the first couple of hours. For some, that is a feature, not a flaw. It makes La Rosée ideal for close-quarters settings where you want to smell clean, polished, and floral without filling the room. If you have tried Delina and found it too loud for daytime, La Rosée solves that problem. What is interesting about La Rosée is how it handles the rose note differently from both siblings. The original wraps its rose in tart fruit. The Exclusif buries it under vanilla and amber. La Rosée presents the rose more nakedly, with water and green notes as its only companions. Some reviewers compare it to rosewater, and that is not far off, though the lychee and pear keep it from going purely floral. It is the most linear of the three Delinas, settling into its character quickly and staying there. For some, that linearity is a weakness. For others, it is the whole point: a clean, pretty, uncomplicated rose that does not demand attention.
When to Wear
This is a spring and summer fragrance, built for mornings, office wear, and casual daytime outings. It works well in warm, humid conditions where heavier fragrances might become overwhelming. Browse the For Her collection at Aromatica for more feminine options across seasons.
Who Is It For
Someone who loves the Delina rose-and-lychee pairing but wants it lighter, fresher, and more appropriate for everyday wear. If you find most fruity florals too sweet or too strong for warm weather, La Rosée is a considered alternative.
As a flanker of Delina, La Rosée occupies the opposite end of the spectrum from Valaya, which runs warmer and more complex. Both are worth comparing side by side. Browse the full Parfums de Marly collection at Aromatica.
Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
