Named after the brightest star in the constellation Aquila, Althaïr Eau de Parfum by Parfums de Marly arrived in 2023 as a deliberately luxurious take on the spiced vanilla oriental. Perfumers Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis built it around a core of Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar, warming it with Ceylon cinnamon and Guatemalan cardamom rather than letting sweetness dominate unchecked. The Scent
