Description - Black XS
Bright and sharp, never sour. Paco Rabanne Black XS EDT decant from ৳461 in Bangladesh, 5ml to 15ml. Notes of lemon, cinnamon and patchouli.

Dark, sweet, and built for after-hours confidence, this was the rock-and-roll counterpoint to the shiny 1 Million era at Rabanne. Paco Rabanne released Black XS as an Eau de Toilette in 2005, an oriental woody signed by Olivier Cresp that pairs bright citrus with a praline-cinnamon warmth. If you have been tracking the Black XS price in Bangladesh, this is the men's version, the one that leans spiced and gourmand rather than clean, and it still carries that mid-2000s edge without feeling dated.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Lemon, Sage

Heart: Praline, Cinnamon, Tolu Balsam, Black Cardamom

Base: Patchouli, Brazilian Rosewood, Black Amber

The Scent

Lemon and sage set a tart, slightly herbal start, sharp enough to keep the sweetness in check for the first few minutes. The lemon reads bright and a little zesty, while the sage runs underneath it with a green, aromatic bitterness that stops the citrus from turning fruity or soft. That opening contrast is brief, and it exists mostly to keep the composition from feeling sugary out of the gate. Within the first fifteen to twenty minutes the citrus burns off and the praline begins to surface, warm and nutty, the note that defines the whole wear. Cinnamon and black cardamom thread through it almost immediately, adding a dry, spiced bite that cuts the candied edge and gives the heart some grip. Tolu balsam sits under all of it, resinous and faintly syrupy, deepening the praline rather than lightening it, so the middle stretch reads as rich and full-bodied. Around the one-hour mark the spices and the sweet accord reach a balance, neither one dominating, and this is where the fragrance holds its most recognizable shape. From there the transition into dry-down is gradual: patchouli creeps in first, earthy and dark, pulling the sweetness toward something drier and more grounded. Brazilian rosewood follows, adding a smooth woody thread that keeps the base from feeling heavy or muddy. Black amber settles the late hours, smoky and slightly powdery, wrapping the praline in a warm shadow that lingers close to the skin. The praline-cinnamon core is the signature move here, the part most people remember, and it stays legible from the heart right through to the dry-down. What changes across the wear is the framing: sweet and spiced up top, then progressively darker and woodier as the base takes over. Reactions split along a clear line: some read it as an addictive spiced sweetness, others find the praline too sugary for a masculine scent. Either way, the woody amber base keeps it anchored rather than dessert-like, and the shift from bright citrus to dark resin is the reason it wears less flat than most sweet designer scents from its era.

When to Wear

This belongs to cold weather, the kind of fall and winter evenings where a warm, spiced trail actually fits the air. Reach for it on a dinner date, a night out, or a club setting where you want something noticeable and a little bold. It suits after-dark plans far more than a morning at the office.

Who Is It For

Made for the man who likes his fragrances sweet, spiced, and unapologetically loud, and who came up on the 2000s designer scene. If gourmand warmth with a dark twist is your lane, this sits comfortably in it.

If you like this direction, compare it with Ultra Male for a fruitier, sweeter spin on the same after-dark energy, or stay in the house with 1 Million Lucky. Explore more from the Paco Rabanne range or browse the wider Spices collection for similar warmth.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
