Description - The Wedding Silk Santal | 36
Refined florals, dialled to wearable. Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 EDP decant from ৳1,066, shipped across Bangladesh. Notes of jasmin

Mona Kattan built this one for her own wedding day, and the Kayali brief shows in every decision. The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 is a 2023 eau de parfum by Gabriela Chelariu, released alongside The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 as a pair bound together by sandalwood, one for Mona's white satin dress and one for her husband's black suit. The frosted bottle matches the theme. Anyone weighing the Wedding Silk Santal price in Bangladesh should know it has moved in and out of availability.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Champagne, Freesia, Black Currant

Heart: Nectarine, Praline, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, May Rose

Base: Vanilla, Sugar, Sandalwood, Musk, Amberwood, Oakmoss

The Scent

The champagne accord is the first thing you notice and it is the most successful part of the composition, fizzy and cold and genuinely effervescent rather than a vague sparkle. Freesia sits in that opening as a clean white floral, and blackcurrant adds a syrupy, liqueur-like darkness that pushes the top toward something you would drink. What happens next surprises people who expect the sandalwood in the name to arrive early. It does not. The heart is praline, and it is loud, a sugary spotlight that one reviewer said arrived exactly where they were expecting woods. Nectarine piles more juice on top of it. The florals get buried under that sweetness, with jasmine, orange blossom and May rose reading as a soft background rather than as identifiable flowers. The base finally brings the santal in, creamy and smooth, wrapped in sugared musk and vanilla with amberwood and oakmoss adding a faint dry edge. Reviews are enthusiastic and split at the same time. Devotees call it one of the prettiest things Kayali has made and describe it as smelling like a bride, praising how the praline stays creamy without turning heavy. One reviewer returned their bottle, reporting no champagne, no nectarine and only a trace of vanilla on their skin. Collectors who own most of the line consistently rank it in their top five from the house, alongside Vanilla 28 and Yum Boujee Marshmallow, which tells you the audience it lands with. The praline is the deciding note. If sugared nut accords work on your skin, this reads as elegant rather than as a bakery, helped by the sugared musk and the creaminess of the santal underneath. If they do not, no amount of champagne accord at the top will rescue it for you.

When to Wear

Spring and autumn celebrations, dressed-up dinners, date nights and evening events where its sweetness reads festive rather than heavy. Warm humid afternoons will amplify the praline more than you might want. Fits our Gourmand | Sweet collection.

Who Is It For

Someone who wants a sweet fragrance with an occasion attached to it, and who likes praline and creamy sandalwood more than they like actual florals.

If you want the sandalwood without the sugar, Freedom Musk Santal | 34 shares the santal thread and runs cleaner, and Mona herself recommends layering this with Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33. Browse the full Kayali collection at Aromatica.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
