The Scent

The nose catches cardamom first, green and slightly medicinal, riding alongside a peppery buzz from Sichuan pepper that gives the opening real bite. Elemi adds a resinous, almost citric edge underneath, while bergamot and lemon keep things from tipping into heaviness too early.
