Riffs built Seasons Rise, an Eau de Parfum from 2025, around the idea of comfort food turned into a fragrance, and that idea comes through immediately. It leans warm and gourmand without tipping into dessert territory, balancing spice against something creamier underneath. Aromatica carries the Seasons Rise decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, and it has quickly become one of the house's easier recommendations for anyone drawn to cozy, spiced florals.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Nutmeg, Orange Blossom, Pink Pepper, Orris
Heart: Caramel, Toffee, Cinnamon, Clary Sage
Base: Cashmeran, Vanilla Bean, Praline, Amber, Ambroxan
The Scent
Pink pepper registers first, a light rattle of spice sitting on top of orange blossom, and there's a papery, slightly powdery edge from the orris that keeps the opening from feeling sweet too soon. Nutmeg follows within minutes, rounding the pepper out and adding warmth rather than heat. As the fragrance settles into its first hour, caramel and toffee start to surface from underneath, and this is where Seasons Rise turns from bright to comforting. Cinnamon threads through the caramel, giving it a baked, slightly spiced-bakery quality instead of straight sugar. Clary sage is the quieter note here, adding a faint herbal, almost tea-like dryness that stops the heart accord from becoming one-note. Some wearers pick up a distinct praline character at this stage, almost like toasted nuts folded into the toffee, while others find the caramel reads closer to burnt sugar with less nuttiness. Both readings are fair; the accord is built to sit in that in-between space. Into the dry-down, cashmeran and ambroxan take over, and the fragrance turns musky and slightly woody rather than staying purely sweet. Vanilla bean anchors everything at the base, but it is a restrained, bean-forward vanilla rather than a candied one, and amber gives the whole composition a soft, skin-close finish. The transition from the peppery top to this warm, ambered base is the most interesting part of the fragrance, and it happens gradually enough that Seasons Rise never feels like it's wearing two separate scents.
When to Wear
This is an autumn and winter fragrance built for shorter days, well suited to evening dinners, holiday gatherings, or a walk through Dhaka's cooler winter evenings when a warm gourmand feels appropriate rather than heavy. It also works for office days that run into after-work plans, since the spice keeps it from feeling purely dessert-like. Who Is It For
Seasons Rise suits someone who reaches for spiced desserts over floral perfumes and wants warmth on their skin without reaching for a straight vanilla or amber fragrance. It also fits people who like their sweetness cut with something herbal or peppery rather than served plain.
If you enjoy Seasons Drift, it comes from the same line and makes for an easy comparison, while Freeze offers a cooler, less gourmand take from the same house. Browse the full Riffs collection at Aromatica.
