The Scent

Snow accord hits first, and it is a strange, convincing kind of cold, more mineral than sweet, sitting right alongside spearmint so the whole opening reads like frost on a citrus grove. Grapefruit and lemon zest cut through that chill fast, bringing juice and brightness before Calabrian bergamot smooths the edges. Within the first twenty minutes the ice accord in the heart takes over from the snow, and this is where the fragrance gets interesting: instead of staying cold, it starts to warm from the inside as ginger spikes through, sharp and a little peppery.
