Peony in the base blends almost invisibly with the musk, keeping the overall impression soft and skin-like into the late dry-down. The late stages hold that same pale, quietly creamy character established in the heart, with the lychee's watery brightness now replaced by a warmer, more settled softness. The finish is clean, quietly sweet, and slightly powdery. The tobacco's restraint here is deliberate: it functions as a grounding agent for the musk and peony rather than asserting itself as the dominant accord, which makes the overall arc feel cohesive rather than disjointed.
