Common Questions
Good to know
-
Because the vanilla sits in the base. Jasmine sambac, tuberose and orange blossom carry the opening and heart, with coffee and caramel as accents, and bourbon vanilla only comes forward in the dry-down. Reviewers on Fragrantica range from asking where the vanilla is to calling it one of the best vanillas they own, depending on how long they wear it.
-
Parfumo tags Bianco Latte as a suggestion, but reviewers on Parfumo push back hard, saying the two have almost nothing in common. Bianco Latte is a milky caramel gourmand; Vanilla 01 is a white floral with a coffee accent. One Fragrantica reviewer finds it closer to L'Orchestre's Bouquet Encore Latte, with more sandalwood in the base.
-
It is the floral one. The Heritage numbers are themed on a single material, and where Incense 01, Tobacco 01 and Patchouli 01 are built around darker materials, Vanilla 01 is jasmine and tuberose on a vanilla base. Swiss Arabian's numbering, explained on Fragrantica, uses 01 for its standing as the first perfume company in the UAE.

No reformulation has been reported for a release this recent, but maturation comes up. One Fragrantica reviewer describes their bottle as having finally matured beautifully, and another tells newer owners their bottle will smell better a year on. The white florals seem to be what settles.
