Description - Tobacolor
Smoky and refined, never loud. Genuine Dior Tobacolor EDP decant from ৳1,258 in Bangladesh. Notes of tobacco, tobacco leaf and white tobacco

Dior's La Collection Privée line is known for elegant florals and soft vanillas, which makes Tobacolor Eau de Parfum an unexpected entry. Released in 2021 and composed by François Demachy, this is Dior's take on the fruity tobacco genre, built around the image of a hookah filled with colorful, honey-soaked shisha. It is bold, sweet, smoky, and one of the strongest performers in the Privée lineup. Aromatica carries the Tobacolor decant in Bangladesh in all four sizes.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Tobacco, Plum, Peach, Citruses

Heart: Honey, Smoke, Tobacco Leaf, White Tobacco

Base: Amber, Oriental Notes, Woody Notes

The Scent

The opening is immediately rich. Plum and peach arrive together, juicy and syrupy, and they carry a smoky edge from the first spray. This is not a clean or restrained tobacco. It hits with conviction. The fruit here is not decorative. It gives the tobacco a colorful, almost candied quality that separates Tobacolor from drier, more austere entries in the genre. Within ten minutes, honey becomes the dominant sweetener, coating the tobacco in a sticky golden warmth. Community reviewers regularly call this the best honey note they have encountered in a fragrance. It is not thin or abstract. It reads as real, thick, almost edible honey layered over warm tobacco leaves. The smoke stays present throughout, sometimes reading as hookah smoke, other times as a faint ashy dryness depending on skin chemistry. Some wearers detect an incense-like resinous quality underneath the smoke, adding depth without sharpness. The comparison to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille comes up often, and it is a fair one, though Tobacolor replaces the cherry-vanilla sweetness of TV with fruit and honey. The result is warmer and more enveloping, less spiced. In the dry-down, amber and woody notes create a dense, long-lasting base. Tobacolor is a projector. Reviewers consistently describe it as room-filling, with some noting that it lasts on clothing for days. This is not a fragrance you apply heavily. Two sprays is the consensus for comfortable wear in most settings. It was compared to Baccarat Rouge 540 when it launched, and while the structural similarity is there in the way Demachy contrasts sweetness against a woody-amber skeleton, Tobacolor has its own identity. The tobacco grounds it in something more traditional and more masculine-leaning, though the honey and fruit keep it firmly unisex.

When to Wear

This is a fall and winter fragrance, best for evening events, dinners, and occasions where a strong, warm scent feels appropriate. It is too heavy for summer in most climates. Browse the Winter collection at Aromatica for more cold-weather options.

Who Is It For

Someone who enjoys rich, sweet, tobacco-forward fragrances and wants something with more fruit and honey than the typical Tobacco Vanille clone. If you like your tobacco warm, smoky, and enveloping rather than dry and leathery, Tobacolor is built for that preference.

If you enjoy this DNA, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is the obvious comparison and worth testing side by side. Browse the full Dior collection at Aromatica.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
