Description - Terre D’Hermes Eau Givree
Sun-led brightness, well-composed. Terre D’Hermes Eau Givree EDP decant from ৳444 in Bangladesh, sizes 3ml to 15ml. Notes of citron.

Frozen citrus, mineral earth, and an icy chill that feels like Hermès channeling mid-winter air into a bottle. Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée, the 2022 Eau de Parfum flanker from Hermès, is perfumer Christine Nagel's interpretation of the iconic Terre d'Hermès DNA through a crystalline, cold-weather lens. It keeps the groundedness of the original but strips away warmth, replacing it with something sharp and glacial. Aromatica carries the Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Citron

Heart: Juniper Berries, Sichuan Pepper

Base: Wood, Mineral Notes

The Scent

Citron hits first, and it is not the soft, rounded citrus of most fresh fragrances. Sharp, almost electric lemon-citrus with a faintly bitter edge, like the zest rather than the juice, and it arrives with real punch. Within a few minutes, Sichuan pepper introduces itself, adding a dry, buzzing spice that amplifies the citrus rather than warming it, which is unusual and immediately interesting. Juniper berries weave in alongside the pepper, and this is where the gin-and-tonic quality emerges: botanically dry, slightly piney, and genuinely icy in character. The opening twenty minutes feel like cold air and citrus peel, and there is a clarity to it that is almost austere. As the top notes settle, the juniper takes the lead in the heart, pushing the citrus into the background without erasing it. The pepper lingers as a quiet hum underneath, keeping the composition from feeling too linear or safe. Around the forty-minute mark, the wood and mineral base begins to surface. This is the moment where Eau Givrée most obviously reveals its Terre d'Hermès lineage: dry, stony minerality paired with clean, unvarnished wood, familiar to anyone who knows the parent fragrance. The drydown is cool and grounded, less icy than the opening but still not warm, settling somewhere between mineral skin and a clean forest floor. It is worth noting that the character can split depending on skin chemistry: some skin types pull the citrus forward deep into the dry-down, others shift quickly to the mineral-wood base. Either outcome works. The whole arc, from sparkling citron to dry mineral wood, is cohesive and unfussy, classically Hermès in its restraint but with a modern frozen edge that makes it feel genuinely distinct from anything else in the Terre line.

When to Wear

Autumn office days and cool spring mornings are where this performs best, clean and structured enough for formal settings without feeling stiff. It also fits well on cooler summer evenings when you want something fresh but with backbone, rather than the usual aquatic or sweet options. Skip humid midsummer heat; the icy character needs cooler air to land properly.

Who Is It For

Suited to someone who already gravitates toward the Terre d'Hermès family but wants a cooler, more angular version for the shoulder seasons, or anyone who finds most citrus fragrances too soft and wants one with genuine mineral grit underneath.

Fans of Terre d'Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense will find the DNA familiar but the mood distinctly different, making the two worth wearing back-to-back before deciding. Browse the full Hermès collection at Aromatica.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
