The Scent
Citrus-first and unmistakably Italian, Q opens with Sicilian lemon and blood orange coming through clean and bright, with a slightly zesty tartness that keeps things from feeling sweet too soon. Jasmine runs quietly alongside, barely noticeable as a distinct floral but doing real structural work, rounding out the citrus so it reads as warm skin rather than a cleaning product. The opening phase is fresh and airy, with the citrus accord sitting close to the skin rather than projecting loudly. The lemon in particular has a sun-ripened quality, slightly waxy at the edges, that anchors the blood orange and stops it from reading as purely juicy.
