The Scent

Berry-forward, ripe, and bold from the first spray, Her Elixir opens with strawberry and blackberry hitting at once, not like fresh fruit at a market but like something cooked down and concentrated, with a slight tartness underneath the sweetness. There is a faint sour edge here that can read as intriguing or unusual depending on the nose. It sits closer to a dark berry preserve than a light spritz of fruit. The two berries do not play equal roles: the strawberry tends to dominate in the first spray, warm and almost candied, while the blackberry adds a deeper, slightly darker undertone that keeps the opening from reading as simple or one-dimensional.

Within the first ten minutes, a creamy quality begins to emerge, softening the tartness into something rounder and more approachable.
