Description - Goddess Intense
A modern gourmand with grown-up restraint. Genuine Burberry Goddess Intense EDP decant from ৳661 in Bangladesh. Notes of vanilla, lavender a

Lavender and vanilla have always been a natural pair, but Burberry Goddess Intense Eau de Parfum, released in 2024, pushes that relationship into darker, denser territory than the original Goddess ever went. Perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie, who built the first Goddess around a luminous vanilla-lavender accord, returns here with a bolder brief: more smoke, more sweetness, more weight. The result is a flanker that shares its parent's DNA but wears it like a heavier coat. Aromatica carries the Burberry Goddess Intense decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes.

The Scent

A strong, clear shot of lavender is the first thing the nose registers, and it reads immediately as aromatic rather than floral. This is the same luminous lavender essence from the original Goddess, but here it lands with more presence, more buzz on the skin. Within the first few minutes, vanilla begins rising underneath it, not the clean, airy vanilla of the original but something denser and more textured. The heart is built on four distinct vanilla ingredients, and together they create a thick, buttery sweetness that can read as intoxicating or overwhelming depending on the wearer. Vanilla Caviar and Vanilla Absolute give the mid-phase a creamy, almost edible quality, while Bourbon Vanilla adds a slightly boozy warmth that deepens the blend. The lavender and the vanilla coexist in a productive tension through the first hour: the lavender keeps things from going fully gourmand, and the vanillas stop the lavender from reading as a simple aromatic. That tension is what separates Goddess Intense from a straightforward dessert fragrance.

Around the one-hour mark, a split appears in how the fragrance develops on different skin types. On some wearers, the lavender softens beautifully as the vanilla takes over, producing a smooth, sweetened herbal warmth that is genuinely comforting. On others, a slightly scorched or smoky note emerges in the transition, a byproduct of the vanilla SFE (vanilla extracted with supercritical CO2, giving it a woody, almost smoky dimension). Whether that registers as complexity or harshness depends on skin chemistry and tolerance for rich gourmands. On skin types where the smokiness does appear, it fades after another half-hour into a softer, more integrated warmth rather than persisting as an irritant.

As the composition moves through its middle phase, the four vanillas begin to reveal their individual characters more distinctly. The Vanilla Absolute lends a deep, resinous richness, while Vanilla Caviar keeps the texture smooth and almost liquid in quality. Bourbon Vanilla threads a warm, slightly spiritous note through the blend that prevents the sweetness from ever reading as flat or one-dimensional. The lavender, rather than disappearing entirely, lingers as a soft herbal haze above the vanilla core, holding the composition in a pleasantly ambiguous space between aromatic and gourmand.

The dry-down is patchouli-anchored, and the patchouli here is restrained, more chocolatey than earthy, providing a smooth base that grounds the entire composition without turning it dark or heavy. The overall effect in the dry-down is of warm vanilla, soft lavender undertones sitting on a quiet bed of dark cocoa patchouli. Compared to the original Goddess, the weight is noticeably increased throughout every phase, from the opening lavender to the final drydown, and that added density is the clearest signal of what Intense is actually doing differently.

When to Wear

Goddess Intense is built for autumn and winter evenings, the kind of nights that call for something warm and enveloping rather than fresh and projecting. It suits dinner dates and intimate evening gatherings, where you want a scent that reads as rich and intentional. Who Is It For

Women who already love gourmand fragrances and want something with a sophisticated herbal edge cutting through the sweetness will find a great deal to appreciate here. It suits those who reach for vanilla but find most vanilla fragrances too soft or unstructured to hold their interest.

If you want to compare it directly to its origin, the Burberry Goddess is the lighter, breezier version of this DNA and worth sampling alongside. Browse the full Burberry collection at Aromatica.
