Description - Gentleman Society EDP Extreme
A modern gourmand with grown-up restraint. Genuine Givenchy Gentleman Society EDP Extreme decant from ৳661 in Bangladesh. Notes of Madagasca
Launched in 2024, Givenchy Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Extreme is the darker, more intense sibling to the original Gentleman Society. It keeps the same refined framework but tips the balance firmly toward coffee and iris, dialling back the cardamom sweetness in favour of something weightier and more self-assured. Aromatica carries the Givenchy Gentleman Society EDP Extreme decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes. Created by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, this is an Eau de Parfum built for men who want depth without drama.

The Scent
Peppermint and nutmeg arrive first, giving the top an almost iced-coffee energy before the clary sage adds a dry, herbal edge underneath. It reads clean but with a pulse. The sage in particular does real work here: it is not decorative, it anchors the mint and stops the opening from reading as a fresh aquatic. Within ten minutes, coffee moves to the centre and stays there. This is not a sweet, dessert coffee. It is dark and slightly bitter, grounded by a triple vetiver accord that adds an earthy, rooty density to the composition. The Madagascar and Haitian vetivers layer noticeably, one smokier and one greener, keeping the coffee from tipping into gourmand territory. The straight vetiver underneath both adds a resinous, pencil-shaving quality that you catch mainly in the mid stages of the dry-down.
Orris root and French narcissus work quietly in the heart, adding a powdery floral note that can read soft and refined on some skin, while barely registering against the coffee and vetiver on others. That is a genuine split depending on skin chemistry and sensitivity: if you are attuned to iris, you will catch it as a creamy iris buffer sitting between the coffee and the wood. If not, this reads as a clean, dark woody coffee fragrance with little floral register. The narcissus is the subtler of the two florals and largely acts as a bridge, softening the transition between the bitter coffee heart and the warmer base that follows. As the heart settles, the vetiver gradually recedes and the base begins to assert itself, the sandalwood warming the composition from beneath while the cedar holds a sharper, drier edge alongside it. The dry-down is where the sandalwood and cedar take over from the vetiver, warming the composition considerably. Madagascar vanilla appears late, never sweet enough to dominate, enough to round the cedar and add a slight creaminess to the finish. The late dry-down can carry a faint hay-like quality, a dry, almost grassy warmth behind the wood and vanilla. That note arrives around the ninety-minute mark and is subtle. Not everyone catches it, but it is worth knowing about if you are unfamiliar with the fragrance. The sandalwood here reads milky rather than dry, which gives the final stage a smoothness that contrasts well with the cedar's sharper, drier edge. Overall the development arc is from bright and cool to dark and warm, moving steadily through its stages without any abrupt shifts. It is a composed, well-structured fragrance that rewards patience.
