Description - 1 Million Black
Dessert notes done with serious craft. Paco Rabanne 1 Million Black EDP decant from ৳768, shipped across Bangladesh. Notes of bourbon vanill
Three vanillas in one heart is either commitment or excess, depending on who you ask. 1 Million Black is a 2026 eau de parfum from Paco Rabanne, the house now trading as Rabanne, composed by Christophe Raynaud and Quentin Bisch as a flanker to 1 Million, the 2008 release that defined an entire decade of masculine designer perfume. Tropical fruit replaces the original's cinnamon and leather. The 1 Million Black price in Bangladesh puts it alongside the rest of the line.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Pineapple, Cardamom, Blood Orange
Heart: Vanilla, Madagascar Vanilla, Bourbon Vanilla, Coconut, Clary Sage
Base: Ebony Wood, Tonka Bean, Patchouli
The Scent
Pineapple leads and it is sweet from the first second, with blood orange adding juice rather than sharpness and cardamom supplying the only real dryness in the top. Some wearers read the tropical accord as mango more than pineapple, and a few report dark fruit closer to plum. The sweetness never lets up, which is either the appeal or the problem. The vanilla trio arrives quickly and it is blended smoothly enough that you do not smell three separate vanillas, only one thick one, with coconut adding a creamy lactonic edge underneath. Clary sage is the single herbal counterweight and it is faint. The ebony wood base is the most contested part of the composition, because several reviewers say they could not detect any wood at all on first wear and only found a vague woody hum in the background later. Tonka and patchouli round it off warm and sweet. Community reaction has been harsh. Recurring complaints are that the line has been flanked past the point of meaning, that the bottle does not match the notes, and that another vanilla release was not needed. One reviewer compares it directly to Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan. On the other side, wearers who like it describe it as a more mature and deeper reading of the 1 Million idea, and comparisons to Rabanne Fame come up often for the fruity-sweet aromatic texture. Where you land probably depends on how many vanilla releases you already own. The original 1 Million was a cinnamon, leather and blond wood composition, so this shares a name and a bottle silhouette with it rather than a scent profile. Anyone expecting the 2008 formula intensified will be surprised. Taken on its own terms as a tropical vanilla, the blending is competent and the pineapple is clean rather than synthetic, which is more than several of its shelf neighbours manage.
When to Wear
Autumn and winter evenings, date nights and casual weekends. Heat pushes the vanilla and pineapple into cloying territory quickly, so this earns its keep once the weather turns. Sits with our Gourmand | Sweet collection.
Who Is It For
Someone who wears the 1 Million line and wants the fruity vanilla version, or a younger wearer who wants sweetness without spice.
If you want the sweetness with more structure, 1 Million Elixir is the denser flanker and holds up better in comparison. Browse the full Paco Rabanne collection at Aromatica.
