The Scent

Iris leads hard in the first few minutes, and not the soft, powdery iris of classic feminine perfumery. This one has an almost metallic, root-vegetable sharpness, the carrot-and-chalk edge that raw iris root actually carries. It is clean without being soapy, cool without being fresh.
