Eastern depth in a wearable form. Authentic Lattafa Embrace EDP decant from ৳363, available in Bangladesh. Notes of ambergris, benzoin and i
Lattafa built its Pride line around fragrances that skip the loud oud-and-oil clichés for something more contemplative, and Embrace, released in 2025, is where that idea lands hardest. It opens on ginger and artemisia before settling into a resinous, forest-lit heart that reads more niche than mass-market. Aromatica carries the Lattafa Embrace decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, so you can spend real time with how it develops rather than judging it off a single spray.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Ginger, Bergamot, Artemisia
Heart: Patchouli, Balsam Fir, Incense
Base: Benzoin, Ambergris, Oakmoss
The Scent
Ginger hits first, warm and a little peppery, with bergamot cutting through it to keep the opening from feeling heavy. Artemisia adds a green, slightly bitter herbal streak underneath, the kind of note that makes the first few minutes smell more like a walk through underbrush than a bottle of perfume. Within twenty minutes the citrus starts to fade and balsam fir steps forward, bringing a cold, resinous forest quality that pairs oddly well with the ginger still lingering at the edges. Incense joins next, not smoky in a heavy church sense but more like dry resin warmed on skin, and patchouli fills in the space between them with an earthy, slightly damp texture. Some people catch a fleeting sweetness here, almost like sap, while others find the transition stays resolutely dry and woody; both readings are fair depending on skin chemistry. The bergamot and ginger from the opening do not disappear so much as recede, leaving faint traces that keep surfacing whenever the fir and incense settle into a quieter moment. Artemisia's herbal bitterness lingers longest of the top notes, threading through the patchouli and giving the heart a slightly wild, unswept edge rather than a polished one. By the two-hour mark the fir and incense have merged into something closer to a single resinous accord, and that is when benzoin starts pushing up from underneath, rounding the sharper edges with a soft, vanilla-adjacent warmth. The dry-down belongs to ambergris and oakmoss, a salty, mossy pairing that keeps Embrace from ever turning sweet. Oakmoss in particular seems to pull the whole composition back toward the ground, damp and mineral, while ambergris adds a warm skin-like undertone that keeps the moss from reading too cold. Benzoin and patchouli continue to trade places in the background here, one surfacing as the other fades, so the base never quite locks into a single fixed shape. What is left after several hours is a skin-hugging blend of resin, moss, and faint warmth, quiet but distinct enough to notice on a scarf or sleeve the next morning.
When to Wear
This one belongs to cooler months, evening dinners, and any setting with wood paneling, low light, or a fireplace nearby. It also works for early morning commutes in winter when the air itself smells cold and mineral, echoing the fir and moss in the base. Save it for after sunset or overcast days rather than a bright, humid afternoon, where the resinous heart can feel out of place.
Who Is It For
Someone who gravitates toward incense-heavy candles and forest walks over bakery-sweet gourmands will find a lot to like here. It also suits anyone who prefers their fragrances unisex and mood-driven rather than gendered by convention.
If you enjoy Raw Human, it shares that same skin-close, resinous restraint and is worth comparing side by side. Browse the full Lattafa collection at Aromatica.
