Common Questions
Good to know
-
More fruit, less amber. Turathi Blue is a short, clean formula: bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit over amber and woods with musk and patchouli underneath. Turathi Electric keeps the citrus but adds pear up top and orange blossom, apple and cedarwood through the heart, finishing on musk, amber and a soft vanilla. Blue is the plain fresh one; Electric is the fruitier and rounder of the pair.
-
It does, and it is the reason this works here. Pear is a waxier, fuller fruit note than citrus and it holds on warm skin while pink grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot thin out within minutes. Orange blossom and apple then carry the middle, both of which get slightly sweeter in heat. The musk-amber-vanilla base is soft rather than heavy, so nothing turns cloying through a hot day, and it makes a genuine warm-weather option.
-
It leans toward pleasant and easy rather than complex, and the fragrance does not pretend otherwise. The pear-grapefruit-mandarin opening and the orange-blossom-apple heart are cohesive but straightforward, resolving into a soft musk-vanilla base rather than any dramatic twist. If you want a fragrance that surprises you, this is not built for it; if you want dependable, easy-to-wear fruit-florals, it delivers exactly that.
-
Both do, though they head in different directions from there. 9PM takes that opening into lavender and cinnamon for a warmer, spicier heart. Turathi Electric keeps it citrus-and-fruit-forward instead, moving into orange blossom, apple and cedarwood before a soft musk-amber-vanilla finish.
-
Turathi Electric is frequently compared to Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum, tracking a similar blue, citrus-forward profile. Turathi Electric takes it in a fruitier direction, leading with pear and pink grapefruit before settling on a musk-amber-vanilla base, at a lower price point than the original.
