Description - Missoni Wave
Polished woods with a herbal lift. Missoni Wave EDT decant from ৳308 in Bangladesh, sizes 3ml to 15ml. Notes of clary sage, Haitian vetiver

Missoni built its name on color and pattern, and Wave takes that same instinct for texture and translates it into scent. Released in 2020 under the nose of Christophe Raynaud, this eau de toilette leans into open water and sun-warmed skin rather than heavy formality. Aromatica carries the Missoni Wave decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, so you can spend a season with it before deciding how it fits your rotation. It reads casual and current, built for warm days rather than boardrooms.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Sea Notes, Citruses, Sicilian Mandarin

Heart: Lavender, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Egyptian Pelargonium

Base: Vanilla Orchid, Haitian Vetiver, Patchouli, Oakmoss

The Scent

Sicilian mandarin registers first, sharp and a little green at the rind, riding on a salty sea accord that feels less like a beach cliche and more like wind off open water. That marine facet doesn't sit alone for long. Within minutes, lavender pushes through, cool and herbal, and clary sage adds a faint wine-like sweetness underneath it that keeps the citrus from turning too simple. Rosemary joins soon after, sharpening the aromatic edge, while Egyptian pelargonium brings a rosy, slightly green nuance that softens the herbs without making the composition floral. This is where Wave earns its name: notes roll into each other rather than sitting in distinct layers. As the first hour closes, the citrus and sea notes recede and the heart takes over completely, giving the fragrance a grassy, slightly peppery character that reads more masculine-aromatic than fresh-clean. The dry-down is the surprising part. Vanilla orchid appears gradually, adding a soft, creamy warmth that some noses pick up almost immediately and others notice only after an hour or two, a genuine split depending on skin chemistry. Haitian vetiver and patchouli ground that sweetness in something earthier and drier, while oakmoss adds a mossy, slightly bitter edge that stops the vanilla from turning gourmand. The finish sits between fresh and warm, not fully in either camp, and that tension is what makes the later stage more interesting than a standard aquatic. Worn over several hours, the transition from the citrus-marine opening to the herbal heart never feels abrupt, more a gradual dimming of brightness as lavender and rosemary take the lead. Clary sage lingers longer than expected, a soft, dry sweetness that threads through the herbs and later meets the vanilla orchid at the edges of the dry-down. Egyptian pelargonium fades earlier than the rest of the heart, leaving rosemary and lavender to carry the aromatic character on their own for a while before vetiver and patchouli start to show underneath. Oakmoss and patchouli settle into the skin close together, giving the base a low, earthy weight that balances the vanilla rather than competing with it. By the time the sea notes and mandarin are only a faint memory, what remains is a quieter blend of herbs, wood, and soft sweetness that still carries a trace of that opening freshness.

When to Wear

This suits early evenings on a coastal walk, terrace dinners in humid weather, and casual weekend outings where the herbal-marine opening can breathe. It works well through the hot, humid months when heavier orientals feel like too much. For something similarly built around fresh top notes and easy wear, the Missoni collection at Aromatica is worth browsing alongside it.

Who Is It For

Someone who prefers fragrances that feel lived-in rather than composed, drawn to sea air and herb gardens over sweet or heavy compositions, will find Wave comfortable from the first spray.

If you like the marine-citrus opening here, Acqua Di Gio Eau De Parfum shares that same salty freshness, though it leans more classic. CK One offers a lighter, more unisex take on the same clean-aromatic idea. Browse the full Missoni collection at Aromatica.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
