Description - Marwa
Citrus-led with refined character. Arabiyat Marwa EDP decant from ৳439 in Bangladesh, sizes 5ml to 15ml. Notes of lemon, neroli and bergamot

Marwa comes from Arabiyat Prestige, a 2025 release built around a bright citrus-tea idea that reads more polished than most mall-shelf citrus scents. It sits in eau de parfum concentration, unisex in design, and the first impression is clean without being thin. Aromatica carries the Marwa decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, so getting a feel for it before committing to anything larger is simple. What is notable early is how the citrus doesn't stay one-note; it has a spiced, tea-like direction waiting underneath.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Calabrian Bergamot, Lemon, Sicilian Orange

Heart: Nigerian Ginger, Ceylon Cinnamon, Tunisian Neroli

Base: Ambroxan, Chinese Black Tea, Olibanum, Guaiac Wood

The Scent

The first thing the nose registers is Calabrian bergamot pushed alongside lemon and Sicilian orange, sharp and juicy without turning sour. Within minutes the citrus starts to soften as Nigerian ginger steps in, adding a warm, slightly peppery pulse that keeps the opening from feeling generic. Ceylon cinnamon arrives close behind, dusting the citrus with a spiced warmth, while Tunisian neroli smooths the transition with a soapy, floral-citrus note that bridges the top and heart. About thirty minutes in, the tea character starts to show, and this is the part that surprises people expecting a straightforward citrus cologne. Chinese black tea moves in as a dry, slightly tannic backbone, pulling the composition away from sweetness and toward something more restrained. Ambroxan builds steadily underneath, giving the whole structure a smooth, ambery lift rather than a loud musk. Olibanum adds a faint resinous edge, barely noticeable at first but present enough to add depth once the top notes fade. By the dry-down, guaiac wood settles in with a smoky, slightly dry woodiness that anchors everything the citrus and spice built earlier. The overall shape is citrus and ginger up front, tea and cinnamon in the middle stretch, and a warm amber-wood finish that lingers close to the skin. Worn a while longer, the lemon and Sicilian orange from the opening never fully disappear; they linger as a faint brightness that peeks through the ginger and cinnamon whenever the skin warms up. The neroli keeps returning in small traces too, a soapy whisper that softens the drier stretches where black tea and olibanum take the lead. As the guaiac wood and ambroxan settle into each other, the cinnamon loses its sharper edge and reads more like a dusting than a spice rack, blending into the wood instead of sitting on top of it. The black tea and olibanum together give the base a dry, slightly bitter quality that keeps the amber from turning sweet or heavy. Toward the end, what started as a citrus burst and a tea-spice middle folds into a single soft accord where bergamot, cinnamon, and guaiac wood all read as one connected line rather than separate stages.

When to Wear

Marwa fits early meetings, daytime client lunches, and any warm-weather setting where a sharp citrus opening earns its keep, especially spring into summer afternoons. It also works for evening dinners in cooler months once the tea and guaiac wood settle in, giving it a slightly more grounded feel after dark. For anyone building out a wider rotation, the Arabiyat Prestige collection at Aromatica has options that lean warmer if a full oud direction is wanted for winter.

Who Is It For

Someone who reaches for citrus colognes but gets bored of them fast will notice the difference here. It suits a person who wants a spiced, tea-toned finish rather than another aquatic or generic fresh scent.

Anyone drawn to Marwa's amber-wood finish might also want to try Ramad Earthy, another Arabiyat Prestige release built on a warmer, resinous base. Browse the full Arabiyat Prestige collection at Aromatica for the rest of the line.

Available as an authentic decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica in 3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml.
