About our decants

At Aromatica, we hand-decant authentic perfumes from original full-size bottles into smaller atomizers. This lets you experience the full dry-down on your skin before committing to a full bottle, or own and wear several signature scents at a fraction of the cost.

3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml decant sizes

Please note: bottle visuals shown above may vary slightly from the current bottles in use; the volumes remain the same. Decants are produced manually in a sterilized environment and shipped with a spray atomizer.

Description

About this fragrance

Kenzo built its reputation on unexpected pairings, and the Kenzo Homme Eau de Parfum from 2016, composed by Natalie Gracia-Cetto and Olivier Pescheux, is a good example of that instinct applied to a men's fragrance. It arrived as a 25th anniversary tribute to the original 1991 Kenzo pour Homme, reworked into something more aromatic and oceanic than nostalgic. Aromatica carries the Kenzo Homme EDP decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, and it is worth trying if you want a woody aquatic that leans mineral rather than sweet.

Notes, the scent, when to wear, and who it is for.

Common Questions

Good to know

  • It is a deliberate reworking rather than a copy. Built for the line's 25th anniversary, the Eau de Parfum keeps the woody-marine idea of the 1991 original but pushes it more aromatic and oceanic, with mint and cardamom up top. Longtime fans are split: some enjoy the fresher take, while others miss the meditative depth of the classic.
  • Clean and mineral. The sea notes and sage sit over sandalwood, vetiver and cedar, so the drydown stays dry and woody rather than sweet, with only a whisper of vanilla at the end. That restraint is what makes it easy to wear in heat without it turning cloying.
  • Kenzo Homme Eau de Parfum leads with mint, citrus and cardamom before sea notes, sage and spices settle into a sandalwood, vetiver, cedar and vanilla base, giving it a warmer, spiced character. Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense instead opens cool and saline on sea notes, calypsone and nutmeg before pine and patchouli bring a bolder, more coniferous edge over sandalwood and cedar. The EDP reads warmer and more vanillic overall, while the EDT Intense stays colder, greener and more ozonic from its calypsone opening through to the pine-driven heart.

The Scent

Cold mint hits first, sharp and a little medicinal, backed by citrus that keeps things bright rather than sour. Cardamom shows up almost immediately underneath, giving the opening a peppery warmth that stops the mint from feeling too clinical. Within the first twenty minutes, sea notes move to the front, and this is where the fragrance earns its aquatic label without smelling like sunscreen or generic ocean spray. It reads more like wet stone and salt air than fruit or melon. Sage joins around the one hour mark, dry and herbal, pulling the composition away from anything sweet and toward something closer to a coastal garden after rain. The spices in the heart are subtle, more texture than flavor, and they mostly serve to bridge the marine accord into the base. As the fragrance settles, vetiver and cedar take over, both dry and slightly smoky, with sandalwood adding a creamy, rounded edge that softens the wood. Vanilla appears last and stays faint, enough to keep the drydown from feeling austere. Some wearers find the sage and mint combination a little sharp for the first half hour, while others get almost no mint at all and jump straight to the marine and woody accords, so the opening can read differently depending on skin chemistry.

When to Wear

This suits early spring mornings and coastal weekends, the kind of weather where a light jacket is still needed but the air already smells like the sea. It works well for a boat trip, a beach town dinner, or a daytime meeting near the water, and it holds up in humid Dhaka afternoons better than heavier orientals. Pair it with something from the Kenzo collection if you are building out a rotation of aromatic, wood forward scents.

Who Is It For

Someone who prefers dry, mineral woods over sweet gourmand bases will get along with this one. It also fits people who like their aquatics grounded in sandalwood and vetiver rather than built entirely around citrus and ozone.

If you enjoy the drier, more classic profile of the Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette, it comes from the same house language of sage and woods and is worth comparing side by side.
