The Scent

Dark rum and amaretto lead the charge in the first few minutes, a liqueur-soaked opening that smells like a glass poured a little too generously. Black currant cuts through almost immediately, adding a tart, jammy fruitiness that keeps the booze from going flat, while a thread of bergamot lifts the edges and adds a faint citrus brightness.
