What does Guilty Elixir Pour Femme smell like?
It is the most concentrated Guilty Pour Femme, violet and mandora over a wisteria, rose and osmanthus heart, into tonka, vanilla and patchouli. Dark, low pitched and a little androgynous rather than bright and fruity, unlike the fresher original Guilty Pour Femme.
Is the Pour Femme Elixir very different from the Pour Homme?
The two Elixirs are pitched close, both nocturnal and unisex-leaning. The Pour Femme tilts a touch more floral through its wisteria-rose heart, while the men's version runs slightly drier, but they share the same tonka-vanilla-patchouli base.
Is Guilty Elixir Pour Femme a sweet scent?
It is warm and ambery-sweet from the tonka and vanilla, but patchouli grounds it, so it lands as a soft oriental rather than a straight gourmand or a sugary floral like the lighter Guilty flankers.
What happens to the violet-mandora opening in Dhaka's humidity?
The tart, blackcurrant-like violet and bitter mandora fade faster in heat and humidity, handing control to the wisteria-rose heart sooner than in a cooler climate. The tonka, vanilla and patchouli base also thickens quicker on humid skin, so the elixir reads warmer and heavier than its cold-weather design suggests.
Why is a decant the sensible way to try this elixir?
At elixir concentration this is one of Gucci's most intense fragrances, and violet-tonka orientals are polarizing by nature, rich and comforting to some, cloying fast to others. Testing a 3ml decant against your own skin avoids committing to a full bottle of something this particular in style.

Notes, the scent, when to wear, and who it is for.

Gucci built the Guilty line on rebellion, and the Elixir de Parfum pushed that idea further when it launched in 2023. This is the most concentrated, most intense version of Guilty Pour Femme, built by perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto around a bold violet and tonka bean pairing. Aromatica carries the Gucci Guilty Pour Femme Elixir decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, making it easy to try before deciding if this darker, denser Guilty is the one you want to live with.

Full note breakdown on Fragrantica.

The Scent

Violet registers first, and it is not the soft powdery kind. Here it comes across sharper, almost blackcurrant-like in its tartness, backed by mandora's bitter citrus edge and a quick flash of bergamot. That opening is brief and electric rather than sweet. Within minutes the wisteria and rose start to surface, softening the violet's edge into something more floral and rounded, while osmanthus adds a faint apricot-leather nuance that keeps the heart from turning generic. This is where the fragrance splits opinion a little: some skin chemistry pushes the rose forward into a clean, almost soapy floral, while other wear brings out osmanthus's fruitier, slightly leathery side first. Both readings are valid and both settle into the same place eventually. As the heart fades, tonka bean moves in fast and takes over the structure. It is warm, slightly boozy, and coats the florals in a soft haze rather than replacing them outright. Vanilla follows close behind, thicker and creamier than a typical gourmand vanilla, closer to burnt sugar than whipped cream. Patchouli grounds the base last, adding a woody, earthy undertone that keeps the tonka and vanilla from tipping into pure dessert territory. On dry-down, what remains is a rich, slightly dark floral-gourmand: violet and rose reduced to a memory, tonka and vanilla dominant, patchouli humming underneath. It reads more mature and more assertive than the original Guilty Pour Femme, less about flirtation and more about presence.

When to Wear

This suits cold-weather evenings, dinner in a heated restaurant, or a night out where you want the fragrance to hold its own against wine and conversation. The tonka-vanilla base feels dense and warming, so it works better once temperatures drop than in peak summer heat. For daytime wear, save it for structured, dressed-up settings, like a work event or a winter wedding, rather than a casual coffee run. If floral-gourmands are your lane, the Gucci collection at Aromatica has several worth exploring alongside this one.

Who Is It For

Someone drawn to darker, denser florals rather than light and airy ones will respond to this immediately. It fits a wearer who likes vanilla and tonka in their gourmands but wants patchouli's grit keeping things from turning too sweet.

If you enjoy the Guilty Pour Femme Absolu De Parfum, it sits in the same family with a similarly rich, concentrated approach and is worth comparing side by side. Browse the full Gucci collection at Aromatica for the rest of the Guilty and Bloom lines.
