Common Questions
Good to know
-
They share a name but not a formula. The 2018 Absolute was a woody chypre with rose and patchouli; this 2025 Absolu de Parfum is a gourmand-oriental built on bitter almond, amaretto, coffee and vanilla. So the newer one is sweeter and more dessert-like than the original.
-
Wisteria is an uncommon floral, and here it sits in the heart with patchouli and rose, adding a soft, slightly green floral lift between the almond top and the coffee-amaretto base. It is part of what keeps the gourmand from reading purely as dessert.
-
Guilty Pour Femme Absolu de Parfum introduces a coffee amaretto accord into the Guilty family, opening on bitter almond, mandora and bergamot before rose absolute, patchouli and wisteria lead into a vanilla, tonka bean and coffee amaretto base that reads darker and more gourmand than its siblings. Guilty Pour Femme Elixir opens instead on violet, mandora and bergamot, moving through wisteria, rose and osmanthus into a tonka, vanilla and patchouli base that stays sweet and boozy rather than coffee-forward. Absolu pushes past Elixir's density into a distinctly coffee-led, gourmand direction.
