Common Questions
Good to know
-
Mostly clean. Its pyramid pairs two vetivers: the Haitian material, which smells grassy and fresh, and Java vetiver oil, the traditionally smokier grade. Grapefruit and bergamot keep the Java facet in check, so the smoke reads as a faint shading. Reviewers on Fragrantica mostly describe it as a clean, classy vetiver, while a minority find it sharp or flat.
-
Its citrus top and grassy vetiver are a natural fit for heat. Seasonal votes on its Fragrantica page lean toward spring and summer, with winter the least chosen, which matches the composition: no vanilla, amber or resin to thicken in humidity. In Dhaka's heat the grapefruit fades sooner, leaving the green vetiver and papyrus in front.
-
The collection launched as a limited series, and a reader comment under Fragrantica's launch article describes it as no longer sold. We found no official Elie Saab statement either way, and full bottles now turn up mainly through resale. Whether it returns is unknown, so decants are the practical way to wear it.
