The Scent

The opening is where the family resemblance lives. Bergamot and tangerine come up bright, pineapple sits underneath them with that slightly candied quality the line has always had, and the blue crystals accord adds a cool synthetic sparkle over the top. This is sweeter and juicier than the original Club De Nuit Intense Man, and several reviewers note the harsh lemon edge that made the parent polarising has been sanded almost entirely away.
