Common Questions
Good to know
-
Both descend from the same Naxos-inspired brief, but they lead differently. Muharib opens on lavender, lemon and bergamot into a honey-cinnamon-cashmere wood heart, while Ateeq pushes honey and cinnamon forward from the first spray with grapefruit and lime underneath, moving into a tobacco-lavender-jasmine heart. Ateeq's tonka-coumarin-vanilla-orchid base reads creamier than Muharib's tobacco-tonka-jasmine finish.
-
It follows the same honey-tobacco-citrus brief as Naxos but reworks the balance, leading with honey and cinnamon rather than the lavender-forward opening Naxos and Muharib share. It reads as a distinct reinterpretation rather than a note-for-note match, sitting closer to Naxos in spirit while charting its own path through Muharib's structure.
-
It is a deliberate contrast rather than a clash. Grapefruit and lime cut through the honey and cinnamon in the first few minutes, keeping the opening from feeling syrupy before the tobacco-lavender-jasmine heart settles in. The citrus fades well before the tonka-coumarin-vanilla base takes over, so the two phases do not overlap for long.
-
Several honey-tobacco fragrances built on the same brief now sit in the catalogue, and Ateeq's differences from them come down to its citrus balance up top and the composition of its base. Wearing them side by side is the clearest way to hear those distinctions before deciding which version to commit to.
-
Tonka, coumarin and vanilla orchid all read sweeter and denser as skin warms, so the creamy base arrives sooner in humid conditions. The grapefruit-and-lime top fades quickly under heat, leaving the honeyed cinnamon and tobacco-lavender heart to dominate earlier in the wear than they would in a cooler climate.
