How is the Bleu Edition different from the other Amber Oud editions?
Al Haramain sells many Amber Oud editions by colour, and the Bleu Edition is the fresh, citrus-woody one: lemon, grapefruit, mint and pink pepper over ginger, jasmine and vetiver, on a frankincense, sandalwood and cedar base. Match the exact colour name, since the Gold, for example, runs warmer and heavier.
Is there much oud in it?
Not really, and the name oversells it. Like the rest of the line it reads as a crisp aromatic-woody rather than a dark, smoky oud. That makes it an easy warm-weather and daytime scent rather than a rich evening oriental, so set expectations toward fresh rather than heavy.

Notes, the scent, when to wear, and who it is for.

The bluer, spicier sibling in Al Haramain's Amber Oud line trades crisp herbs for zesty citrus and smoke. Amber Oud Blue Edition, a 2022 eau de parfum, opens with a bright, minty citrus and dries into a warm, smoky woods, giving it a day-to-night range the fresher editions do not have. It is bold and energetic without turning heavy. You can find the Amber Oud Blue Edition decant in Bangladesh at Aromatica if you want a fresh-spicy scent with real warmth underneath.

Full note breakdown on Fragrantica.

The Scent

It opens zesty and cool, lemon and grapefruit sparking against peppermint and a spark of pink pepper for a fresh, energetic start. That citrus-mint pairing gives the top an invigorating snap. As it settles, the heart warms up: ginger adds a spicy tingle, jasmine brings a soft floral touch, and vetiver keeps a green, earthy thread running through. The transition from fresh to spicy is the most interesting part of the wear. The base is where it shifts gears, turning into a smoky, resinous woods, with olibanum and patchouli adding depth and sandalwood and cedar giving it a warm, slightly sweet finish. The result is a fresh-spicy scent with a smoky base, versatile enough to carry from a bright afternoon into the evening. Community reaction frames it as a bold, crowd-friendly fresh-spicy release with strong value, sitting near popular citrus-and-pepper designer profiles. Some find the base the highlight, others prefer the fresh opening. The agreement is that it is confident and easy to wear across the day. Projection is strong in the fresh opening, carried by the zesty citrus and mint, before the smoky woods settle it into a warmer, closer drydown. That shift from bright to smoky is the most enjoyable part of the wear and gives it range across a day. Reviewers often place it near popular citrus-and-pepper designer profiles, valuing it as an affordable, crowd-friendly option. The frankincense and patchouli in the base add a resinous depth that keeps it from feeling like a simple summer splash. On skin it feels bold and energetic up top and quietly warm underneath, an easy scent to carry from afternoon into the evening.

When to Wear

This leans spring and summer, when its zesty citrus-mint opening reads brightest, while the smoky base carries it comfortably into the evening. It suits casual daytime wear and nights out alike. It fits well in the summer collection at Aromatica.

Who Is It For

It suits someone who likes fresh-spicy scents and wants one that shifts from bright citrus to warm smoke as it wears. If you enjoy zesty openings with a woody, resinous base, this is a strong-value option.
