About our decants

At Aromatica, we hand-decant authentic perfumes from original full-size bottles into smaller atomizers. This lets you experience the full dry-down on your skin before committing to a full bottle, or own and wear several signature scents at a fraction of the cost.

3ml, 5ml, 9ml, and 15ml decant sizes

Please note: bottle visuals shown above may vary slightly from the current bottles in use; the volumes remain the same. Decants are produced manually in a sterilized environment and shipped with a spray atomizer.

Description

About this fragrance

Alya is a 2026 eau de parfum from Hamidi, the Dubai house, launched with its sister scent Maysara and presented at Paris Modest Fashion Week. Hamidi formulates it without alcohol, using oil carriers instead. It smells like sunlit citrus and white peach over a clean, soapy bouquet of orange blossom and lily of the valley, finished with a soft vanilla musk. Hamidi does not say who composed it. Launched beside the spicier, richer Maysara, it is the lighter, daytime half of the pair.

Notes, the scent, when to wear, and who it is for.

Common Questions

Good to know

  • That is how Hamidi sells it. The house's own product page labels Alya alcohol-free and explains that it uses oil carriers in place of ethanol, and Hamidi's launch announcement describes Alya and Maysara as alcohol-free eau de parfums. No independent ingredient analysis has been published, so this rests on the manufacturer's statement.
  • It was designed for it. Hamidi's launch announcement presents Alya and Maysara as skin-friendly formulas suited to warmer climates, and the structure agrees: citrus, white peach and aldehydes on top, clean florals, and only a light vanilla musk base. Hamidi's own FAQ adds that the oil carriers are meant to blend with the skin's natural warmth.
  • The two launched together but go opposite ways. Alya is citrus, white peach and orange blossom over a light musk. Maysara is fruitier and spicier, with lychee, rhubarb, pink pepper and nutmeg over rose and peony, then a much richer base of sandalwood, incense, praline and amber. Alya is the daytime one of the pair.

Fragrance Notes

Top: White Peach, Bergamot, Aldehydes, Mandarin, Orange

Heart: Orange Blossom, Vetiver, Lily of the Valley

Base: Vanilla, Amber, Musk

Notes verified from Fragrantica.

The Scent

The opening is bright and fizzy. Bergamot, mandarin and orange bring a juicy citrus, white peach softens it with a downy fruitiness, and aldehydes add the sparkling, clean-linen lift that makes the first minutes feel freshly laundered. Because there is no alcohol to flash off, the opening comes up more gently than a conventional spray, without the sharp ethanol burst.

The heart moves to white flowers. Orange blossom gives a honeyed, soapy sweetness and lily of the valley a cool, green-petal freshness, and a thread of vetiver runs underneath to keep it from turning sugary. It is the kind of floral that reads as clean and well-groomed rather than heady.

The base is soft and understated: vanilla, amber and musk in light proportions, warm enough to round off the citrus but nowhere near a heavy oriental. Fragrantica's accord list leans fresh, powdery and soapy, which matches how the dry-down wears.

When to Wear

Alya is a daytime scent for warm weather. Citrus, white peach and clean florals suit spring and summer, and the light vanilla musk base never gets heavy in heat, which is exactly the climate Hamidi says it had in mind. It fits office hours, daytime errands, university, family visits and daytime gatherings. Its clean, soapy character also makes it a considerate choice for close quarters, such as a shared office or a family gathering, where a sweet oud would feel intrusive. For a winter evening it will feel slight, so keep it for the brighter part of the year and the brighter part of the day.

Who Is It For

Women who want a fresh, polished floral without alcohol in the formula, whether for religious reasons, for comfort on sensitive skin, or simply as a preference. It also suits anyone who finds the dryness or sting of alcohol-based sprays uncomfortable on the neck. It suits someone who finds most Arabian perfumes too sweet or too smoky and wants something closer to a clean everyday scent. Hamidi markets it for women, and Fragrantica lists it for women and men; on most skin it reads soft and feminine. Community discussion is still sparse because it is new, so expect fewer second opinions than for an established scent.

Alya joins the wider Arabian fragrance collection, and other soft, white-flower scents are gathered in the floral fragrance collection.

Alya is decanted into 9ml and 15ml sizes.
