Released in 2024 under the Lattafa Pride line as an Eau de Parfum, it opens sweet and ends rough around the edges, which is the whole point of the name. The Scent

Apricot hits first, and it is genuinely juicy rather than candied, with plum right behind it thickening the fruit into something darker. Pink pepper needles through both, keeping the opening from turning into a jam jar. Within the first twenty minutes osmanthus starts to show, and this is where Raw Human gets interesting: osmanthus can read as apricot-leather all on its own, so the note pyramid effectively doubles down on itself, and the fruit and the flower blur into one continuous accord instead of announcing themselves separately. That blurring is the surprise here. Most fruity orientals keep their top and heart in clearly separate acts, but this one lets them overlap for a long stretch before the base ever arrives. As the plum recedes, the pink pepper lingers a little longer than expected, adding a faint prickle to the osmanthus that keeps the heart from turning soft or powdery. When leather finally does show up, it is not harsh or smoky. It sits close to suede, softened by styrax's warm, faintly vanillic resin. Olibanum brings a dry, slightly smoky frankincense undertone that keeps the whole base from turning gourmand. The styrax and olibanum settle in together, the resin rounding out the frankincense so the base reads warm rather than austere. On skin the dry-down settles into something warm and slightly animalic, apricot still faintly present under the leather like a memory of the opening. Even at that late stage, the osmanthus never fully disappears, it recedes into the suede, giving the leather a floral undertone instead of a plain animalic one.
