Description - Soho
Eastern warmth with serious craft. Superz Soho Parfum decant from ৳1,260 in Bangladesh, 3ml to 9ml. Notes of oud, amber and cardamom.
Gourmand fragrances that feel genuinely urban rather than edible are rare, and Soho Extrait de Parfum by Superz, launched in 2024, lands squarely in that gap. Named after one of the world's most culturally dense neighbourhoods, it layers coconut and mimosa over a spiced heart of tobacco, saffron, and tonka bean before settling into a rich oud-amber base. Aromatica carries the Superz Soho decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes.

The Scent
Softer than the note list suggests, the first impression is shaped by coconut that reads creamy rather than tropical, with mimosa keeping it from going sweet too fast through a faint powdery brightness. Jasmine adds a whisper of floral depth in the background, while patchouli grounds the whole opening with a subtle earthiness that hints at what is coming. Within the first fifteen minutes, the spice layer begins to surface, cardamom and cinnamon pushing forward with real warmth, joined quickly by nutmeg that gives the composition a slightly dry, almost bready edge. Saffron comes in with its characteristic metallic-honey quality, and this is where the fragrance can divide impressions, because the saffron pushes quite assertively and can read as almost leathery on certain skin types. Tobacco arrives mid-development and is the note that changes everything, shifting Soho from a warm gourmand into something more complex and characterful. It is a sweet, slightly dried-leaf tobacco rather than a smoky one, and it weaves beautifully with the tonka bean and vanilla that bloom alongside it, creating a rich, almost resinous sweetness that anchors the heart. Canarium resin, derived from the same tree family as elemi, adds a subtle balsamic quality that you will not consciously identify but would miss if it were not there. As the coconut-spice contrast of the first hour begins to settle, the composition moves toward a warmer, drier character that feels more grounded and intimate. The saffron softens slightly at this stage, allowing the tobacco and tonka to take the lead while the vanilla hums quietly underneath, adding sweetness without tipping into dessert territory. The dry-down brings agarwood that reads more refined than raw, a polished oud that adds depth without going barnyard or medicinal. Sandalwood wraps around it with soft, creamy wood, and the whole thing settles into a warm amber-musk base that sits close to the skin. The saffron and tobacco pairing in the heart is the boldest creative choice here, and whether it reads as opulent or overwhelming will depend on your skin chemistry and your tolerance for assertive spice.
When to Wear
Soho is built for cooler weather, autumn through winter, when the spice and resin notes can breathe without turning cloying. Evening wear suits it best, from dinners out to late-night gatherings where you want something that registers as complex and deliberate rather than casual. Who Is It For
Drawn toward rich oriental fragrances but wanting something with a gourmand softness rather than pure incense weight, the person who reaches for Soho is likely already wearing fragrances like Naxos or Tobacco Vanille and looking for a house with its own distinct personality.
If you enjoy Naxos by Xerjoff, the tonka-tobacco-vanilla triangle will feel immediately familiar, though Soho trades Naxos's honey for coconut and adds more spice complexity. Browse the full Superz collection at Aromatica.
