Common Questions
Good to know
-
Bergamask opens on bergamot and lemon before settling into a musk-cedar drydown built for a citrus-then-animalic arc. Risvelum keeps a citrus opening too, grapefruit and bergamot, but moves into blackcurrant and pineapple before a musk-ambroxan-amber base, giving it a fruitier, brighter finish than Bergamask's drier, more skin-close conclusion. See Bergamask.
-
It carries real presence from grapefruit and bergamot pushed hard, then blackcurrant and pineapple adding a sharp, juicy edge before amber and ambroxan settle the base. Compared to a typical fresh citrus scent it asks more of the wearer, though within Orto Parisi's own catalogue this is actually the brighter, more approachable outlier.
-
Orto Parisi's lineup includes Viride, Seminalis, Bergamask, Megamare and Cuoium alongside Risvelum, each built around a different raw idea. Risvelum stands out as the fruity-citrus entry, built on grapefruit, bergamot, blackcurrant and pineapple, rather than the herbal, animalic or aquatic directions its siblings' names suggest.
-
Juicy fruit notes like blackcurrant and pineapple tend to feel heavier and less crisp in humid heat, moving toward a denser, more syrupy impression than they give in drier air. The ambroxan and amber base should still keep the scent grounded, but expect the fruit to read a touch riper and less sharp on a hot Dhaka day.
-
At extrait de parfum pricing from a niche house known for challenging, unconventional work, Risvelum is exactly the kind of release worth confirming on skin first, since even its brighter, fruitier profile still carries Orto Parisi's characteristic intensity. A decant settles that question before the cost of a larger size becomes a factor.
