Description - Nuit & Jour
Modern fougere with everyday wearability. Naseem Nuit & Jour EDP decant from ৳699, shipped across Bangladesh. Notes of lavender, oakmoss and

Naseem built its N-Collection around a simple idea: day and night deserve different scents from the same house, and Nuit & Jour is the half that belongs to the evening. This eau de parfum leans into a bergamot-lavender opening that reads clean rather than sharp, then settles into jasmine over cashmere wood, an unusual pairing for a unisex Arabian release that usually leans heavier. Aromatica carries the Naseem Nuit & Jour decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes, so you can spend proper time with it before deciding.

Fragrance Notes

Top: Bergamot, Lavender, Mandarin

Heart: Aqueous accord, Jasmine, Cashmere Wood

Base: Amber, Woody notes, Oak Moss

The Scent

The nose registers cold bergamot rind first, sliced thin and slightly bitter, with lavender folded in almost immediately rather than trailing behind it. Mandarin softens the citrus within minutes, rounding the sharper edges into something closer to citrus peel steeped in warm water. This is where the aqueous accord shows up, a wet-stone, post-rain quality that keeps the composition from ever tipping into gourmand territory. Jasmine arrives gradually through the heart, not the heavy indolic kind but a washed, almost soapy version that sits comfortably next to the watery notes instead of fighting them. Cashmere wood joins soon after, and this is the surprise: instead of the expected amber-heavy Arabian dry-down, the wood reads soft and slightly powdery, more like a worn cashmere sweater than a resinous base. Some wearers find the transition from bright citrus to soft wood almost too gentle, expecting more weight given the brand's usual register; others consider that restraint the entire point. By the second hour, amber starts filling in underneath the cashmere, warming things without adding sweetness. Oak moss brings the driest, most grounding element of the whole composition, a faint greyish-green undertone that keeps the amber from turning syrupy. What remains on skin late into wear is a quiet blend of clean wood and soft amber, with only a whisper of the original citrus-lavender opening left to remind you where it started. It is a fragrance that moves from bright to hushed without ever raising its voice.

When to Wear

This suits an early dinner on a warm evening or a work event that runs into cocktails afterward, somewhere between office-appropriate and date-night. It performs best in spring and early autumn, when the air is mild enough that the aqueous-lavender opening doesn't get lost or feel out of place. Pair it with something from the Fresh | Clean collection if you're building out a rotation of similarly composed scents.

Who Is It For

Someone who prefers their fragrances understated finds a natural fit here, the type who would rather smell quietly well-groomed than immediately noticeable. It also works for anyone drawn to lavender-forward compositions but put off by the more medicinal, barbershop version of that note.

If you enjoy the calm, lavender-led character here, L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Solar Lavender sits in a similar clean, aromatic space and is worth comparing side by side. Browse the full Naseem collection at Aromatica.
