How is the Parfum different from the original L'Homme Ideal?

The Parfum, released in 2024 and composed by Delphine Jelk, pushes that idea somewhere darker and more indulgent, built around amaretto instead of the softer almond of the original. The Scent

Amaretto hits first, and it is unmistakable. Not a sweet almond syrup but the actual liqueur, bitter at the edges with that faint marzipan-and-cherry-pit quality that benzaldehyde gives real almonds. It reads warm and slightly boozy rather than gourmand-sweet, more like something poured from a bottle than something baked. Within the first twenty minutes the patchouli starts to show underneath, earthy and a touch camphorous, pulling the amaretto away from dessert territory and grounding it.
