Common Questions
Good to know
-
This is the 2025 relaunch. Flowerbomb Extreme has been released more than once since 2006 with different notes each time, so the name alone does not tell you the formula. This current version is the raspberry-and-vanilla-bean one, sweeter and more gourmand than earlier tea-and-floral takes carrying the same name.
-
It is not simply a stronger version. The original Flowerbomb is a tea-and-floral built on freesia, orchid and jasmine, while this Extreme pushes a juicy raspberry top and a heavier vanilla-bean base, making it a clear gourmand departure rather than the same scent turned up.
-
Extreme keeps rose, jasmine and orange blossom as a genuine floral heart alongside its raspberry-vanilla sweetness, staying closer to the original Flowerbomb's bones. Flowerbomb Bonbon drops the dense florals almost entirely in favor of a peach-and-caramel gourmand. If you want fruit added to florals rather than fruit replacing them, Extreme is the closer fit.
-
Not exactly. The original centers on a tea-and-floral accord built from freesia, orchid and jasmine, while Extreme opens on raspberry and closes on a heavier vanilla-bean base, a genuine shift in direction rather than the same formula turned up. If you liked the original's airiness, Extreme's density may feel like a different fragrance entirely.
-
Reaction to the 2025 relaunch is genuinely mixed, with some fans praising the added sweetness and others finding it more synthetic than the discontinued 2013 version carrying the same name. A 3ml decant lets you judge the raspberry-vanilla-rose combination on your own skin and against your own memory of the original Flowerbomb before spending more.
-
Flowerbomb Extreme amplifies the original Flowerbomb idea with juicy raspberry up top and a heavier vanilla bean base beneath a rose, jasmine and orange blossom heart, landing bolder and more gourmand than the classic. Flowerbomb Bonbon instead opens on peach, mandarin and orange before a caramel, orange blossom and jasmine heart settles into amber, sandalwood, guaiac wood and cedar, reading like warm, milky toffee rather than a floral-vanilla bomb. Extreme keeps Flowerbomb's floral backbone and pushes the vanilla harder, while Bonbon leans into caramel and citrus instead of raspberry and rose.
