Davidoff Cool Water Reborn: Green-Herbal Freshness over Clean Vetiver
There are multiple “Reborn” versions. The most common is the Eau de Toilette for men (2022) with a minimalist green profile; there’s also a men’s Eau de Parfum (2023) that’s woodier, plus women’s versions (2022/2024). I’ll focus on the men’s EDT (2022) and note the EDP differences.
What it smells like (Men’s EDT, 2022)
A crisp, herbal-green opening of rosemary moves quickly into cool galbanum, drying down to Haitian vetiver that feels fresh, dry, and clean rather than sweet or aquatic. Overall vibe: brisk, modern fougère with a green twist.
Note pyramid (EDT, 2022)
Top: Rosemary
Heart: Galbanum
Base: Haitian Vetiver.
EDP vs. EDT (quick take)
EDP (2023) keeps the green DNA but leans woodier/denser: galbanum → cedar → Haitian vetiver, versus the EDT’s rosemary–galbanum–vetiver arc. If you want more presence and wood, try the EDP.
Who it’s for
Fans of fresh, non-sweet scents with a green, herbal character. Office-safe, gym-bag friendly, and broadly unisex if you enjoy crisp vetiver.
When to wear
Excellent in spring/summer and warm climates year-round; the clean vetiver base makes it an easy daytime signature.
Why you’ll love it
Minimalist and modern: three-note clarity that smells tidy and uplifting.
Green without heaviness: galbanum adds character but stays airy.
Clean, lasting base: Haitian vetiver keeps the finish dry and polished.
