The Scent

Bright and unmistakably citrus from the first breath: mandarin orange and bergamot arrive clean and sharp, with the sweeter orange note rounding out the edges. It reads fresh but not aquatic, more like zest pressed from actual fruit than a synthetic citrus accord. Within the first ten minutes, the citrus starts to warm up, and you begin to feel the floral heart assembling beneath it. Rose comes in first, polished and slightly powdery rather than dewy or green. Jasmine follows with its characteristic creamy density, pushing the composition toward something richer. Mimosa adds a soft, almost honeyed sweetness that keeps the florals from feeling too formal, and ylang-ylang brings a faintly rubbery, heady quality that will either feel luxurious or slightly overwhelming depending on how you read that note.
