Few houses push out as many flankers as Armaf does within their Club De Nuit line, but the 2025 Club De Nuit Lionheart Man EDP earns its place by going somewhere genuinely different from its siblings. Where the original Club De Nuit Intense Man is all birch smoke and sharp citrus, Lionheart Man swings warm and gourmand. It is an oriental fougere built around mint and lavender on top, a creamy vanilla-benzoin heart, and a base of honey, tonka bean, and tobacco. Aromatica carries the Armaf Club De Nuit Lion Heart decant in Bangladesh in all available sizes.

The Scent
Cool and aromatic from the first spray, mint and lavender together read as fresh but not aquatic, not sporty. There is a slight herbal sharpness from the mint that keeps the lavender from going powdery in the early minutes. It smells clean and confident rather than sharp or aggressive. Within the first ten minutes the sweetness starts to surface. Benzoin and vanilla rise from below, and the character of the fragrance shifts noticeably. The aromatic freshness of the opening does not disappear but it gets folded into something creamier. Around the twenty-minute mark the heart is firmly established. Vanilla here is soft and smooth, not synthetic or candy-like. Benzoin adds a resinous warmth underneath that gives the accord some body. It reads as a dressed-up sweetness rather than a gourmand dessert. The lavender has mellowed at this point to a faintly herbal shadow behind the vanilla, its earlier sharpness softened into something closer to a floral murmur. The transition from the aromatic top to the creamy heart is gradual rather than abrupt, which gives the fragrance a sense of coherence as one phase folds into the next. Into the drydown, the honey and tobacco arrive and shift the scent into its most compelling phase. The honey is rich without being sticky, and it works with the tonka bean to push the sweetness in a rounded, balsamic direction. The tobacco is not a sharp cigarette note. It is smooth and slightly sweet, more of a cured-leaf warmth than anything smoky. These base notes give Lionheart Man a depth that Armaf does not always reach at this tier of their catalogue. The tonka bean threads through all of it, soft and slightly nutty, rounding the honey without making it cloying. Mint and lavender have faded to a cool whisper by this stage, but they leave behind a faint aromatic backbone that keeps the sweetness from becoming too dense. In warmer weather the sweetness can read heavy; in cooler months it feels well-calibrated. The overall character moves from fresh and aromatic at the open, through a creamy resinous middle, and settles into warm honeyed tobacco in the base.
When to Wear
Best suited to autumn and winter evenings. The gourmand warmth in the base works well for dinner dates, evening events, and nights out where you want something with presence. The aromatic opening also gives it enough structure for a smart-casual daytime context in cooler months.
Who Is It For
Someone who gravitates toward warm, sweet orientals with a fresh edge and wants the Club De Nuit pedigree without the smoky birch character of the original line. Fans of honeyed, creamy masculines who find most Armaf releases too sharp or too fresh will find this a natural fit.
If you enjoy Xerjoff Naxos, which shares the same lavender-honey-tobacco axis at a niche price, Lionheart Man sits in the same family and is worth comparing.
